The first showing of BMX at the Olympics has come and gone, and USA came away with half of the medals. UGP rider [Mike Day] got silver, Donny Robinson got bronze, and Jill Kintner got bronze in women’s. [Kyle Bennett] just barely missed qualifying for the finals after his injury in the semi-finals.

Both the men’s and women’s semi-finals were postponed due to rain, and are scheduled for Friday (for us, that should be tonight). That works out for our own [Kyle Bennett], who could use that extra time to rest—he got dislocated his shoulder during the quarter-finals. And [Mike Day] is already chilling in 1st place.
