The shop my brother and I do, Hardcore Sportz, just launched our new and improved site along with an all new Myspace page. You can check it out at hardcoresportz.com.
Also, we’re moving three doors down from our current location. The new shop is three times bigger, so it’s going to be sweet! The other night [...]
These are the new C-lo gloves that we are currently working on. They are dedicated to our good friend Dave Brumlow. If you’ve ever met Brumlow you’ll know why.
Chad’s currently in Vegas at Interbike debuting our new products for ‘08. Check out some of the new stuff we have coming out for the Spring. On the list are the “Fast Times” 24″ cruiser, Chad DeGroot signature shoe, Pivotal and regular BMX seats as well as our 08 Spring/Summer collection.
Check out the video after [...]
Now that the rest of the industry is checking this out at Interbike we thought we would leak some spy shots of our new BMX seats. That’s right, we’re doing seats. They will be offered in both Pivotal and rail systems in 8 different colorways. Keep checking back for more Interbike news.

Flatland is good.
Not much to tell right now. The weather has been good and the riding just as good. I have been filming a little bit for “Same Thing Daily”, a mostly flatland video possibly out by the end of the year. Here is a snapshot from last weekend.
So we just got things settled from Surf Expo and we’re already off to Interbike in Las Vegas. Lots of exciting new products will be unveiled. We’ll be leaking some shots in the coming weeks. For now check out some shots from our booth at Surf Expo right here in Orlando.

Update from Dew Tour. All the UGP racers qualified for the final event. They ran a time trial for seeding and then they were supposed to run a normal race. Rain resulted in canceling the race. Then reverted back to the time trials. Kyle Bennett had the fastest times; he won the race. The [...]
Congrats goes to James Foster for winning dirt in the Salt Lake stop of the Dew Tour. James was our newest flow guys fresh on some shirts sent out just a couple days ago. He left me a message last night saying that he placed 1st in qualifing and he thinks it was his purple [...]
First Dew update. First off, Quinn Semling has a pretty sweet mustache in the works and Catfish is right behind him. Dan Sieg has stalked every Mormon on Myspace in an attempt to find a companion.
As for the riding, vert and dirt prelims have gone down. Tom Haugen was the only UGP rider [...]
It’s news time again. I’ve been busy the last couple of months traveling, riding, and filming to wrap up some upcoming parts that should be out sometime this fall/winter. Some cities I’ve been to lately are Orlando, Miami, Portland, Seattle, Philly, and NYC. It’s been a lot of fun.
Philly was a fun city to ride [...]
Woozy BMX magazine posted up an interview with Karl Poynter yesterday. Go check it out. That, and Karl’s also featured on the front page of their website right now. Nice.
Summer never seems to end which is a good thing in my book. I’m currently typing this in the airport as I leave for the Salt Lake City Dew Tour stop. My most recent trips included sunny southern California and almost the entire west coast followed by a two week trip to Europe for Megatour [...]
