First off, I recently got back from a filming trip for the upcoming full length Eastern video. You can click HERE for a write up about the trip over on my Eastern blog. The picture you see here is of myself on a mission and climbing a fence to get to riding spot.
So other than riding as much as I can now that the Indiana winter is completely gone, I’ve been busy working at my shop. Here is a photo our latest shop shirt featuring our shop cat, “BlackJack.” We found him at a skatepark several years ago. Over time BlackJack has made a ton of fans. So it only made sense to give him his own signature shirt. You can purchase one on our online store.
In other news, I may be getting arrested or fined for running from the police and riding my bike on an 8ft. tall fiber glass shoe that’s here in my hometown. A couple friends of mine and myself were riding this shoe for a while the other night and then I noticed a cop car creeping with his lights turned off. So I figured we could have a little fun and take off on our bikes thinking we were for sure getting away. Well, I was wrong. They already had 2 other police cars waiting on us around the corner. We had discovered this after we had already sprinted across a grass field with a cop on pursuit behind us jumping curbs in his car. Once we realized there was no way of getting away, we just stopped and waited for the police to hop out of their cars. The first thing was asked, “what are you guys up to?” We simply said, “We’re just out riding our bikes.” After a bit of talking, we were told that is was now up to the business who owned the shoe we had rode our bikes on to if they were going to press charges. This was on a Friday night and the business was closed until Monday. So the following morning we went undercover and back to the shoe at 6AM with water, soap, rags, and spray paint to fixe the tire marks and scratches. The shoe now looks good as new. So hopefully nothing comes of it. I’ll keep you posted.
