Kip Likes Strawberries n Salads

Another day, another demo! Or should I say 11 days worth of demos? I just got done doing some Bikes, Boards, and Blades demos at the Florida Strawberry Festival which took place Feb. 29th – March 9th in Plant City, FL about 45 min west of Orlando.

The BMX riders included Rob Nolli, Trevor Meyer, and Austin Coleman, along with skateboarder Phil Hajal, and inliner Jaren Grob. Rob and Austin held it down on the box jump, and on the half pipe, while Trevor stayed on the flat bottom of the 16 ft wide portable vert ramp busting flatland tricks you shouldn’t be able to do in that type of space!

My job was on the mic and I worked the lovely fair patrons into a frenzy! We did 3 demos a day, so during my down time, I rode on the slick ramp with Trevor, shot some new tricks with him for an upcoming video I’m about to release, watched some pig races, and played some darts. The most surprising highlight of the fair for me was I actually found a food booth right next to our trailer that served salads! Yes a salad at the fair! Of course it was $9 but it came with extra dressing to fatten up those nutritious greens!

This was the 4th year for the team to be at the FL Strawberry Festival, so hopefully we’ll be back next year as well. If that’s the case, make sure you stop by and check out our demo! Peace out!

P.S. Here is a little slide show I put together of some of the action!
